The playing area is animated by scrolling text, and all on-screen objects are represented by different characters. The graphics are simplistic, but it’s a good demonstration of pathfinding, polymorphism, code structuring and good documentation. Puyo (source and executable jar) (javadoc) – Puyo is a 2D falling piece puzzle game created in Java. It is also a good example of object oriented programming and good documentation. The game itself is easy to play, spin the pair of Puyos and move them around to make same-colored groups in order to eliminate them from the board. The game will end if the stack of Puyos reaches the top of the screen. Game Projects
